Here comes the bride, all wearing white, is a popular chant for kids. It is not a surprise that you see racks and racks of white bridal gowns in shops. The would-be bride envisions her day as the apex of the perfect wedding the groom beautiful in his tux and herself, all spotless in white. Then she smiles. Everybody grimaces.
